A selection of projects spanning operations systems, marketing and creative work, technical experimentation, and personal creative exploration.
Supported the Girls Symposium across multiple functions, from tech setup and check in coordination to social media content production in the weeks before the event. The campaign period coincided with the strongest month over month engagement growth the organization's social channels saw.
My involvement in Girls Symposium spanned more than one role. On the day of the event I was part of the tech team and helped coordinate check in and on-site logistics. In the weeks before the event I produced social media content including Stories, Reels, and static posts to build awareness and drive attendance. That stretch was when we saw the most significant month over month growth across the organization's social channels, with consistent content keeping momentum going. Working across logistics and content production on the same project gave me a real sense of how event marketing works from the inside.
Supported the SALUTE fundraising campaign at YWCA of the City of New York through direct donor outreach and content production. Reached out to donors from a list provided by the Senior Director of Development and Communications, and produced a video that was projected during the live event.
As part of the SALUTE campaign team, I handled direct donor outreach, working from a curated list to contact donors and drive attendance and contributions. On the content side, I produced a video that played during the live program, giving the event a polished moment that reflected the organization's mission. Working across outreach and production simultaneously gave me a clear picture of how fundraising campaigns operate end to end, from building donor relationships to delivering the creative that brings the event to life.
Developed Hempwerks' ecommerce website and produced weekly promotional newsletters highlighting discounts, featured products, and sales campaigns.
Built and maintained the Hempwerks website to support online product sales while also creating weekly email newsletters designed to promote discounts, featured items, and ongoing offers. The work helped establish a stronger digital storefront and more consistent promotional rhythm for the business, combining web presence with recurring customer outreach. Although the company later closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project reflects hands-on experience in small business ecommerce, promotional messaging, and direct-to-customer digital marketing.
Assisted in running paid social campaigns on Meta for YWCA of the City of New York, helping execute ad spend, monitor engagement results, and refine performance based on what the data showed. Also designed several of the social media posts used across these campaigns.
Working alongside the communications team, I helped execute paid campaigns through Meta Business Manager, monitoring engagement after launch and contributing to adjustments based on what was working. The process involved reviewing metrics, identifying what needed to shift, and implementing changes to improve results over time. In addition to the media buying side, I designed several of the social posts that ran as part of these campaigns, giving me visibility into both the creative and distribution sides of paid social.
Identified a gap in how the communications team planned content and built a calendar template to address it. Worked with the team to establish a regular posting cadence and identify recurring content themes worth building around.
Noticing that content was being planned reactively rather than strategically, I took the initiative to build a content calendar template the communications team could use to organize and schedule posts in advance. The template accommodated recurring content categories, moments tied to specific campaigns, and the needs of each platform. I also worked with the team to identify content types worth committing to on a consistent basis, giving the channels more structure and predictability. Implementing a shared planning tool in any organization requires buy-in, and this project taught me as much about change management as it did about content strategy.
Maintained and updated YWCA's donor and contact database in Boomerang CRM through manual review and data cleanup, ensuring list accuracy for fundraising campaigns, email outreach, and physical mailings. Used cleaned CRM data to build targeted lists in Constant Contact for email campaigns.
Accurate CRM data is the foundation of any effective outreach campaign, and at YWCA that meant regularly combing through Boomerang entries by hand to catch outdated records, duplicates, and missing information. The cleaned data fed directly into Constant Contact, where I helped set up segmented email lists for fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and event outreach. Physical mailing lists were also pulled and organized from the same CRM data. This work sat at the intersection of data management and campaign operations, and gave me a clear understanding of how list quality directly affects campaign performance.
Led facilitation and logistics for monthly HQ meetings at YWCA of the City of New York, building agendas from scratch, coordinating input across departments, and handling all setup and logistics. Also contributed to quarterly town halls as a recurring facilitator and engagement lead.
For the monthly HQ meetings I owned the process end to end. I reached out to department leads to gather agenda items, compiled everything into a coherent meeting plan, sent calendar invites to all staff, configured Zoom with the correct permissions, and facilitated the meeting itself. Senior staff led the broader all staff meetings, but the HQ meetings were effectively mine to run. For our quarterly town halls I developed icebreakers and engagement activities that connected well enough with staff that I became a regular part of the format. Outside of meetings I also built training materials from scratch for internal processes where no useful documentation existed, and delivered those trainings to staff both in person and over Zoom. Across all of it the common thread was taking something that needed structure and making it work.
Built a centralized SharePoint hub used across departments to organize training materials, operational documentation, and internal resources, improving access to information and reducing time spent searching for processes.
Designed and implemented a centralized SharePoint knowledge hub used across multiple departments to organize training materials, operational documentation, and internal resources.
Prior to implementation, key information was fragmented across emails, folders, and individual staff knowledge, making it difficult for employees to find accurate procedures or onboard efficiently.
Structured the hub to standardize how information was stored and accessed, creating clear categories for operational workflows, financial processes, and internal guidance. This improved consistency in how teams referenced procedures and reduced reliance on ad hoc communication.
Worked cross-functionally to identify what resources were most needed, ensuring the system reflected real operational use rather than static documentation.
As a result, staff were able to locate information more quickly, onboarding became easier, and internal processes became more consistent across departments.
Coordinated a multi-step vendor evaluation process for an IT services contract, managing outreach to multiple providers, facilitating review meetings, and consolidating findings into a structured report to support leadership's final decision.
The vendor selection process required coordinating across multiple workstreams simultaneously. I reached out to IT service providers, scheduled and coordinated review meetings, and tracked each vendor through the evaluation pipeline. On the analysis side, I researched vendor offerings, compared pricing structures and service scopes, and compiled findings into a report organized around the organization's specific operational and technical needs. The final deliverable gave leadership a direct comparison to inform their decision while requiring me to manage multiple external relationships and internal stakeholders on the same timeline.
Built a workflow for collecting, categorizing, and reconciling expense receipts against departmental budgets, reducing manual follow up and giving the team clearer visibility into spending across programs.
Department budget tracking was inconsistent. Receipts came in through multiple channels and were difficult to match against the correct program budgets. I designed and implemented a submission process that standardized how receipts were collected and categorized, making it easier to reconcile spending against budget line items and identify discrepancies early. The system improved internal financial transparency, giving program directors better access to spending information across their areas and reducing the manual effort required to maintain accurate records throughout the year.
Built a freelance creative practice delivering websites, presentations, promotional video, branding, and graphic design services for individuals, small businesses, and organizations.
Built a freelance creative practice through OneGraphicZoo focused on helping individuals, small businesses, and organizations communicate more effectively through design and digital media. The work has included website design, presentations, promotional video, branding, and a broad range of graphic design services tailored to different client needs. This project reflects independent client-facing creative work completed outside of my primary roles, combining visual communication, digital execution, and adaptable problem-solving across multiple formats.
Designed and built personal websites by combining UX/UI thinking with WordPress, site builders, AI tools, and hands-on customization to create polished, purpose-built digital experiences.
Built personal websites by first learning and applying UX/UI design principles, then using WordPress, site builders, AI-assisted workflows, and light coding/customization to bring the final vision to life. The process involved translating ideas into layouts, refining structure and user flow, and shaping sites to match specific branding, content, and functional goals rather than relying on generic templates. This project reflects a self-directed blend of design thinking, experimentation, and technical problem-solving used to create websites tailored to exact specifications.
Built internal AI chatbot tools that helped staff navigate handbook information, answer routine questions, and interpret complex policy and compliance documents more efficiently.
Created internal AI chatbot tools to make dense documents faster and easier to use in day-to-day work. One example was an HR-oriented chatbot built to help employees find answers to common handbook questions, surface relevant policy information, and point people in the right direction for next steps. Another use case involved creating chatbot workflows that helped analyze handbooks, official notices, and government guidance so teams could review complex compliance-related information more efficiently. The strength of these tools was their ability to parse large and complicated documents, improve access to important information, and support faster interpretation of policies and regulatory requirements without replacing human judgment for sensitive or high-stakes decisions.
